And I don't know if specific hardware makes a difference with the iRig, but FYI my iPad is a WiFi+3G 32GB model. Drag the Amplitube 4 folder to the trash. In this “IK Multimedia” folder, click on the Edit menu and click Paste. This should paste the “AmpliTube 4” folder that you copied. Check to make sure that all the Presets appear here. Open GarageBand and load AmpliTube 4. You should now see the Presets available from the upper-left menu. Mar 20, 2010 He is having problems running it with garageband. He is able to open up amplitube under the effects I guess, but garageband doesn't seem to want to work with it as it keeps quitting unexpectedly - and he cannot figure out how to record in garageband WITH amplitube effects. If anyone can help- please do.

There’s a lot of choice in the app store for those looking to expand their audio app arsenal with a new guitar sim. Quality wise though, it’s a bit of a mixed bag…
