- – with Garageband closed, using the same method as above, I made my way to the Apple Loops for Garageband folder – pasted the old files into the folder – You’ll get a dialog box asking about keeping both or replacing. I chose Replace and clicked the Apply To All option – Once the paste was complete I opened Garageband.
